      definitely rubbing it in Don

It's 15 here in Eastern MA headed for below 0 tonight.

It will be in the 40's next week though.

I went out and checked on the figs in the unheated GH and threw a blanket over some of them that were exposed.

Guys , every season has its purpose. Winter is for the plants to sleep and for the Nature to collect the water. Skipping a winter means drought and a higher watering bill.

When it is mid-eighties and it's the second week in February... it is hard to convince oneself, while cutting firewood all day, that it really might get cold enough some day to warrant having firewood on-hand!
CA 9b "May you sit under your own fig tree..." This metaphor, in use since Solomon, is a wish for the receiver's spirit to know peace, for their family to be secure, and for their life to be fruitful.
