    They won't be damaged until it hits freezing. However I've had issues with the plant wilting if soil temperature drops below ~60F. A night in my greenhouse at 52F gave me wilted plants the next morning. These were well rooted cutting just moved up to one gallon and used to temperatures of 60-90F. Another attempt to move the plants out to the greenhouse with 40F nights gave the same result. Inside my house where it didn't fall below 60F and they were always ready for heat and sun the next morning.

    My small 1gallon LSU Purple is starting to leaf out. I brought it outside today in hopes of catching a little sun. Tonight is supposed to be 47 degrees. What is the lowest temperature young trees can take?
