Fig tree ID Help

My parents have this fig tree for about 5 years. It was a gift. They don't know what variety of fig it is. I'm including pictures and maybe someone could identify the variety. It's a very good and sweet taste fig.
The fig was not completly ripe, but I wanted to include a photo of the inside of the fruit.

Without seeing the inside and outside of the fruit it would be very difficult. If you don't have any photos now then show us again when you do this summer. We'll still be here.

Looks the same as my brown turkey, same leaf, fruit color, inside, open eye with a hollow center. Mine usually have a sweet melon flavor when ripe.

Some sort of Brown Turkey is what came to my mind as well.

I need to complete my profile... My location is Puerto Rico, hot island, we don't have winter over here. The colder it gets it's 75 in very few days, but it usually is in the upper 80's and 90's.

I checked the link, I latter will compared each variety to see if any of them matches the fig tree.

Your description matches mine! Do you have pictures of the leaf and the fruit of your brown turkey fig?

That looks like a really interesting fig! The fruit reminds me of Sal's Corleone which is identical to Aldo's Palermo Red. I don't have leaf photos of them, though.

I checked pictures of both species, they looked pretty much the same, but have a slight difference is the leaf. My fig tree is almost identical in both the fruit and the leaf to the Aldo's Palermo Red. Maybe is not that variety tough...

If I remember right Aldos and Sals have a mount Edna type leaf shape. What you are showing is not. Just Fyi

Thanks for the leaf photos. Notice that most of the leaves on the PR have thumbs and the one I can see without thumbs has a narrower middle lobe. One PR photo isn't definitive but yours never seem to have thumbs. If that difference holds up maybe they're not the same. Unfortunately for fig IDers, fruits and leaves can look very different on cuttings from 1 plant grown into trees in different environments. We've all seen trees that have different branches with different leaves.

I see your point. Maybe the enviroment, maybe it's another variety. It's kind of dificult to ID a variety, but I tell you something, I love the quality of that fig when it's rip properly.
