      Looks perfectly normal to me. I usually keep my cuttings in coir until they look like that. You will have terrific results, bury it deep and don't drown him

        I had one like that yesterday...Lot's of long roots from two spots on the cutting. The roots completely surrounded another cutting beside it that I thought had rooted too but it was all from this one. hehe

        I think I have better luck when I let the roots grow out a little before potting. Not quite that much but more than just little 1/4" roots.
