Just had jolly tiger cuttings for sale, I asked for pictures of plant, they didn't have any, I asked if they are on any of the fig forums, they aren't. Then I was told why should they be on the forums they don't care about them. Now they are selling other rare figs, so I email for pictures of plant again haha.

Isn't that something... You would think the item not being as described would keep that rating off their listings. As we all know it just enables the situation for unsuspecting buyers. Talk about agravating...

I wish there was a way to filter them (amongst the numerous other alias' they go by) out of my Ebay search results.. Does anyone know if that's possible? Although it's always a dead giveaway when you see the word "nod" used in place of node lol! They always forget that "sneaky E" at the end hehe (can ya tell Im the mom of a 1st grader?? Haha!!) Sure wish something could be done about these scammers. Maybe we should all write at the same time and ask for pics? Haha!!!😉👍

when I search for cuttings on eBay, i do an advanced search for specific folks, willscfigs, harveyc, drivewayfarmer, hermansur, or other folks on the "trusted vendors" list.

Like Mike said below, you may pay a little more but you're going to get what you pay for.

Most of the "too good be true" on eBay is. Pretty much any thing sold on eBay you can find right here in the forum members. You may not find a Galica Ner or Dallosso or JT for $11.99 with our members BUT I promise you at least when you buy from one of us you GET what you pay for....
I would rather pay one of us double for what a tree is going for on eBay just because we all have tis family trust between us.

I think if a member is looking for something they should just make post for it and someone will pm you.

Obviously this person is a forum troll, looking for names of high dollar varieties and seeing what is being said about themselves.

Sadly, eBay will do nothing about it, they do not care and will not start caring as long as they are getting paid.

Like always, if it seems odd, to good to be true , a group of members can't or won't VET the seller.... probably should avoid buying from them, YOU WILL GET BURNED!
