  • First fig 2016 Sucrette (UCD)

Here it is. My first fig of 2016. It wasn't that great but I didn't expect much on such a small tree grown inside under florescent lights mostly in a 5"x12" tree pot until recently. It does look true to name.

I expect the figs to get bigger and tastier this season.

Note that this is different from the Sucrette from Baud.

It looks still great! I hope to taste my Sucrette figs this season too! I trimmed it a little to produce more branches. Was it a breba?

I have one too but mine is small and never grows, I don't know what's wrong with it, I may never get any figs from that thing!

It was actually a main crop and looks like another is forming. Mine hasn't grown much yet either. I'm hoping that changes once I get it outside in a bigger container and fertilize it.
