  • Favorite blogs and YouTube Channels?

After this weekend's cold weather, I'm kicking it into high gear. I'm still figuring out our issues with the backyard (flooding, pests, etc.) but have good success with containers and sunroom plants. What are your go-to blogs and YouTube Channels? Do you have a blog yourself?

Mine is https://charliesgardenblog.wordpress.com/ and my absolute favorite YouTuber is Lavender and Leeks. She has a small allotment garden in the UK and grows things very similar to what I like and try as well. http://www.lavenderandleeks.co.uk/

Lavender and Leeks girl is a little cutesy sometimes but she is very honest about what works and what doesn't. I also like that she's not overly ambitious.

I misread your first post and was going to comment with a ton of non-gardening related blogs and channels but... hmm I'm gonna go ahead and keep this one fig-related.

Actually, gardening is only a small part of the figging process for me. I only really grow fruit trees and tomatoes because they're easy and luckily, my favorite foodstuffs. I'm a personal chef and the culinary end of things is what really gets me going, so here's one of my favorites: Chefsteps.

I have no idea if cooking is at all relevant to your interests but... be amazed! Chefsteps is run by a bunch of modernist recipe developers and they show you all the behind-the-scenes magic of molecular gastronomy. This particular video might not be the best representation of molecular gastronomy (or figs for that matter), but whatever. They included a fresh fig as part of the presentation and that's good enough for me.
