  • A suggestion

Not for the forum but for the members. Seems like we all agree with the rules and we all want to keep it friendly. Many of you know each other by your given name and not just your screen name. So since we are all friends, it would be nice and friendly like to sign your post with your given name or make it part of your signature if it is not your screen name. That way when someone answers a post saying "hey Bob" we know that "whatamafig "is "Bob" if "Bob signs his post as such.
    Thanks for considering my suggestion,

    Gene,
I think most agree with your suggestion.
They also usually include their Zone and Location / Country. I just think that it takes a little time to navigate the software to access the signature line.
The "Help" link provide access to FAQ's and Instructions...

You can set and change your signature by going to your username in the upper right corner > click to get the drop down > select User Settings . On that page, select the Account tab and then go down to the area that says "Conversation Detail Options". On the right side, you will see the option "Edit Post Signature". If you click that link, you will get a popup editor that will allow you to enter/edit your signature.

Is it possible to display a number of views per thread? It can tell if the thread is popular/interesting/anybody cares/etc

        when you go to http://www.ourfigs.com/forum/figs-home
There are 4 columns... Topics - Statistics - Last post - check box.
In Statistics there are 3 rows... Responses - Views - Likes ... there is also a paperclip which notes Attached Pictures

      Pete,
I know why I was confused by your response!
I was accessing the site from my phone, and, apparently, the page design for the phone is different. There is no Statistics column on the phone
When I opened the forum on my home desktop, the view was different and I could see the column you were referring to.
      Thanks!
