I love mulberries! But don't harbor any thoughts of hanging clothes out to dry if there's one within a mile of your place. Let's just say that there's a reason my Mom's sheets have purple polka dots.....Bryant...Franklin County, VA...Zone 7a. Wish List: a 32 hour day....more sleep

Does it really work as a decoy? i am considering getting some yaupon holly to use as a hedge and for the honeybees. i was concerned about the holly berries attracting more birds to my yard than before, and eating my other crops. i think they may prefer figs and blueberries over holly. So, decoy or invitation ???

Msfiglake,
Your resident birds are always there so you are not drawing in new birds. As long as they ripen at the same time it does work. It is just a matter of which they prefer and in this case they prefer the mulberries over the BB and the mulberries ripen in the exact same window as the BB.Cutting sales will start Tuesday Nov 1 at 9:00 eastern
