  • Red leaf stem? Why?

I have put trees outside last week. I bring ALLπŸ™„ Inside last night because is bad hail and tonight ganna freeze hopefully last time. 84F yesterday and freeze over night... I set them in low light area to acclimate them to sun and they do get few hour full sun. But few of my trees leaf stems turn red. Any idea why?

Could still be a reaction to the sun. If it isn't on the surface and can be brushed off with your fingers, then that is what I would guess.

I have 2 figs that have red tint in the stems (branch, leaf and fig). These figs have a nice wine colour and taste great.
I am guessing that the colour pigments are developing in the plant.

Could also be heavy nutrient draw, I'm sure your giving them the grow juice.

A lot of good dark figs have red stems and buds. It's usually a sign of a good fig.
