JF&E Nero

I purchased one last year from JF, but unfortunately it was a mislabeled green fig and this variety will no longer be available. Does anyone have this fig and has it fruited for you? I would love to preserve it and eventually provide a starter for Brandy so she can start selling it again?

I also got one and it ended up being a yellow fig But they promptly replaced it with my choice of trees (I chose a Hunt) They've also stopped carrying COL Littmans, Dominico's White Italian

Frank, I got 2 from them about 3 yrs ago. It's an excellent fig! Medium size, long, pinkish white center, very sweet but not rich tasting.

I'm on the lookout for this fig if anyone is willing to trade! Seems like it would be a great fig for northern growers & worth spreading around. Frank, did JF&E ever recover this guy?

As far as I know, it has not been recovered by JFE. Dennis may be one of a few who has it.

Does anyone have leaf/fruit pics of this JFE fig? I received a black fig from them last year that turned out not to be a Black Madeira and I'm curious...
