How often do you use PMs here?

For some reason I find the PM functionality a bit too different then I got used to. I almost try to avoid the PMs... Is it just me?

Also, is it possible to email to a member directly?

I use it nearly daily. Just took a little getting used to.

I have only used it a few times. I suppose I might use it more in cutting trading season next late-fall or early-winter.

I can't permanently delete one of the messages I received-every time I go to my message center I see this crazed rat killer staring at me

I'm still getting used to it.. and I think there are still a few bugs for some of us. Not sure. It could just be me but I don't think so.

I don't believe you can directly email someone through the board. If you want to take a conversation to email, you'll have to arrange that with whomever you are talking with by exchanging addresses.

I had that problem also - but not from the crazy rat killer. Fortunately I finally got rid of the messages. I clicked on the subject line of each message and that took me to another page where I could do the deleting. Hope that works for you.

I use them quite a bit......The system works fine but I wish it would email when a new one is received but such is life.

Many times questions are asked by PM that can be answered personally and quickly.

I check my PMs more often than I check my EMail.
The PMs are more personal and "Fig" related while my Emails are mostly work related...
