I have posted on this fig a couple times prior. It is my most prolific breba producer and very good. Many Breba I don’t care for the taste that much compared to the main crop but these are excellent. It produces a nice main crop that is one of my favorite main crop light figs. I keep it in my records as Unknown Bill’s White Italian. The group photos on plate has a couple other figs

I ate the 1st probably a little over a week ago. I picked that plate today. This tree is potted. I believe my in ground has some but not ready yet. I will have to check it again. My in ground trees are struggling in a extended drought, I have to many things to water, only 1st year in ground figs getting watered.Last edited by strudeldog; 06-24-2016, 08:33 PM.

Thanks Greg, Tony, I have these 2 dates recorded for main crop the last 2 years 8/27/2015 8/9/2014. I normally note when 1st fruit date unless there is one or two way ahead of others.Last edited by strudeldog; 06-25-2016, 08:06 AM.Phil North Georgia Zone 7 Looking for: All of them, and on and on,

Kevin,
Here is the history that I know of this fig. It came to me from a forum member but I am not sure they are still active or a member here. I contacted them last year to try and find more info, but really no conclusion,

I am not sure Ross, Lot's of possibilities that look similar. I have never grown Filacciano Bianco. The main crop does not have the neck like the Breba on this fig. It will remain a unk unless the direct source path I acquired determines something. It's not that important to me and I was more curious if others that may have obtained this fig from the same source were as impressed with it. In my books once an unknown pretty much always an unknown, I am not going to start venting on folks , but I think folks determination to label/id a fig causes to much confusion, but I guess if they didn't we wouldn't have the discussions and what figs were actually synonymous of each other.Last edited by strudeldog; 06-25-2016, 03:23 PM.Phil North Georgia Zone 7 Looking for: All of them, and on and on,
