  • Vesuviana Bianca Mt. Vesuvius

Finally after 5 years I got my first figs on my Vesuviana Bianca from the foothills of Mt. Vesuvius the figs were absolutely delicious 1 or 2 of them could of stayed on the tree another day or two but I just couldn't take it anymore I'm not the best at describing the flavor of some figs but this one is 100% melon flavor I can't wait to see if it continues next year

Very nice Dave, I've never seen anyone offer that cultivar before. Sounds like a great one to start passing around.

Those figs and leaves reminds me of the Gillette cultivar.

Aww, don't be ashamed. As long as it makes you feel pretty, that's all that matters.

Want: Marseilles Black, Col de Dame (any), figs that do great in zone 9b (new to figs, so no fig trades, but have other plant types)

I don't know Dave, that's what I'd like to find out too. Some have said it looks like LSU Gold, but I don't think it is... the leaves look a bit like Kadota, but it's not Kadota either. I keep looking at other people's fig postings to see if there's any like it, but so far, the closest looking one is the Persian fig.
                  Working...
