  • Conadria 2016 main

it is quite productive this year. The figs were very sweet, with a crunch, the skin was thin and soft. The small yellow fig was so sweet that I had a sudden urge to have a drink of a Stout, it went with a great satisfaction
The tree is in a 5 gal pot and has/had about 60 figs or so.

Ivan - how long did it take for yours to set fruit? I have a 3 year old tree that is quite healthy looking, in a 5-gallon pot, that is reluctant to set fruit.

Mine set fruit in its first year. Got mine from EL, and it's full of figs this year. One on every node.

Yeah mine's from EL, too. Maybe if I stare at it long enough I'll see fruit pop.

I haven't. I guess I should. It's really spread out nicely in terms of width and branching, but it just hasn't produced.

Do you have the wasp, Igor? Wondering if that Conadria was pollinated.

It's from EL and the leaf patterns match perfectly. Maybe because it's young, but I'm betting climate has a lot to do with it.

Mine is from UCD. It was pretty good the first year it was rooted too. I remember there were 2 Conadria numbers , #50 and #51, maybe you have the other one?

I am very curious about the quality of Conadria outside of California, and un-pollinated, too. I have a tree that I bought as a Alma, but I am pretty sure it is a Conadria. The fruit this year was nothing to brag about. Hoping it gets better.
