  • Col De Dame Noir Breba

Somehow I almost missed this one ripening. I've heard others say this tree will produce breba but they do not ripen and fall off. Maybe it's so happy growing in the greenhouse it wanted to thank me?

Since I found it this AM, I've went to the greenhouse to pick it 3 times then changed my mind.....complete madness on when is just the right time to pick it. I'm thinking tomorrow AM prior to big cup of java will be the ideal time. Great way to start off the day!

I didn't realize the CdD's had a breba crop. I wonder how it will compare to the main crop.

I hope I'm not too late.

I can't tell for sure but that looks like it's not hanging limply. If that's true then definitely don't pick it yet.
