No wonder people from the north grow it. Delicious figs ripen in short season is great! How good is it? Black Madeira good?

I was able to ripen them in my ridiculously short season.

And good would be any understatement.

Is this a really hardy fig? Or is it early ripening? I only heard it is a good fig, don't know much else about it.
