CA 9b "May you sit under your own fig tree..." This metaphor, in use since Solomon, is a wish for the receiver's spirit to know peace, for their family to be secure, and for their life to be fruitful.

Are there quality differences between the Celeste cultivars? Or is it mainly just appearance?

Blue Celeste and Golden Celeste (Encanto Farms) stand out as superior in flavor. I have not tried Black Celeste

If I remember correctly, the Standard Celeste and all its many variants only get a so-so rating by most California growers. From what I can remember it just doesn't like the climate out there. But it is a must have for many growers in the southern US.
