One of the first figs I was looking for when I started collecting and before i discovered many other varieties... and mainly because it has the word Texas in its name, also 'Everbearing' I suppose.
One of the early traits I read about considering there are just alot of fig trees sold as Texas Everbearing, Is that the the actual TE has leaves that don't form thumbs. I think I recall, three lobes, no thumbs was the description. I believe wellsprings also mentioned it in their write up when I purchased this TC that woke up just recently
She is showing a couple of 'almost thumbs' but no thumbs...I think as the leaves get bigger the almost thumbs might blend in but time will say and im not sure if the info conflicts with other info. Ill see about updating after I see fruits
