I have Excel growing in a pot. Too small to describe yet. Bought it from the Diggers club shop at Adelaide Botanic Gardens (Australia), and is described on their site as:

“Large rounded fruit, ripening with bright yellow skin and sweet amber pink flesh. A superior all-purpose fig, whose deliciously sweet flesh is flavoured of honey. Excel was bred in California, and selected for its strong yields of plump, golden fruit and superior cold tolerance. Withstanding winter lows of -12oC, but with no chill requirement for fruiting, the fig can grow in a range of climates from dry arid inland areas to the coastal sub-tropics. Self fertile.”
