The Banana fig produces a good crop of medium sized rounded fruit which ripen to light green or near yellow and may have ripe-banana colored spots when fully ripe. The flesh is white with a deep amber pulp with a sweet flavor. The small to closed eye minimizes spoiling. The smaller than average trees are hardy and productive
